My teaching blends fluid vinyasa sequences with slower yin and restorative practices, so you can build strength, release tension, and discover stillness in equal measure. Every class is an invitation to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself—whether you arrive full of energy or simply in need of rest.

I don’t believe yoga is about performance or perfection. It’s about meeting your body and mind exactly where they are, on any given day. My role is to guide you with care and presence, creating a space where you feel supported, welcomed, and able to explore what your practice has to offer.

1-1 Yoga in the Marin Area

Private yoga sessions are typically held for individuals or small groups and are custom-crafted to meet your needs. Private yoga may encompass:

  • Foundational / beginner yoga lessons offered in a private setting with plenty of individualized feedback and Q&A

  • Advanced asana lessons designed to build your skills and technique for certain poses or overall practice refinement

  • Yin / restorative yoga sessions with one-on-one hands-on assisted stretching and massage

  • Yoga classes for special events (e.g. weddings, birthdays, corporate retreats, etc.)

Private yoga for one-on-one instruction will be held in my studio in Corte Madera, or for larger gatherings I can travel to a home or business within the Bay Area.

Katherine Edwards Yoga & Massage was born from my own search for balance and ease in a fast-paced world. Yoga and meditation have been my anchor for decades, while massage and bodywork opened a deeper connection between body and mind. Over time, this personal practice became my calling: to create a space where others can pause, breathe, and return to themselves.

My approach is intentionally personal and authentic. Whether guiding a yoga class or offering therapeutic massage, I listen closely and tailor each session to your needs. It’s not about trends or perfection—it’s about cultivating balance, presence, and a grounded sense of wellbeing that extends into daily life.
