Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services and digital content offered by Katherine Edwards Yoga & Massage (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking a service, purchasing online content, or buying a gift card through our website, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services & Booking

1.1 Services Offered – The Company provides in-person yoga and massage services at its Marin County location.


1.2 Booking & Deposits – All in-person services booked online require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The deposit will be applied toward the final service fee or used as payment toward cancellation/no-show fees (see Section 2).


1.3 Prices – Current service prices are listed on the Company’s website. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will be honored at the price in effect at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

2.1 Cancellation Policy – Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice will be charged 50% of the full service fee.

 

2.2 No-Shows – Failure to attend a scheduled service without notice will be charged 100% of the service fee.

 

2.3 All Sales Final – Except as required by law, all payments (including deposits) are non-refundable.

3. Online Content

3.1 One-Time Payment – The Company offers access to online yoga and wellness videos for a one-time fee per video.

3.2 Access – Purchasers receive unlimited, ongoing access to the purchased video(s) for personal use only, viewable through the Company’s website.

3.3 Restrictions – Videos may not be downloaded, copied, embedded, distributed, or shared. Unauthorized use or distribution is strictly prohibited.

3.4 All Sales Final – Purchases of online content are final and non-refundable.

4. Gift Cards

4.1 Eligibility – Gift cards may be purchased through the Company’s website.


4.2 Redemption – Gift cards are redeemable only toward in-person services. They may not be used for online video purchases.


4.3 Validity – In accordance with California law, gift cards do not expire and carry no dormancy fees.


4.4 Non-Transferable – Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, except as required by law.

5. Wellness Disclaimer & Client Responsibility

5.1 No Medical Advice – Yoga and massage services provided by the Company are not medical care or treatment and are not a substitute for medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.


5.2 Assumption of Risk – By participating in yoga or massage services, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept the inherent risks. You agree to consult with your physician before starting any new physical activity and to disclose any medical conditions to your practitioner.


5.3 Release of Liability – To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release the Company, its practitioners, employees, and contractors from any and all liability for injury, illness, or damages arising from participation in services or use of online content.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Marin County, California.

7. Amendments

The Company may update or modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on its website. Continued use of services or digital content after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
