Vinyasa Yoga in Marin County

Find Your Flow in Marin: Vinyasa Yoga Classes

Vinyasa is a very popular style of yoga featuring an energizing, flow-based practice. The sequencing typically revolves around sun salutations and a mix of standing and seated poses, matching movement to breath as a form of moving meditation. My style is moderately challenging but accessible, with plenty of options for all levels as we move continuously in a dance-like flow on the mat. I carefully curate instrumental playlists that build to drive vigorous movement before slowing down into a calming rest period of savasana at the end. Beyond the physical workout, vinyasa helps you let go of daily stress, stay present in your body, and connect to your intentions through breath and movement. I offer weekly vinyasa classes at Love Story Yoga in Larkspur and Bay Club Marin in Corte Madera, each providing a welcoming space to cultivate balance, strength, and inner calm. Not in the Bay Area? Practice with me online via my YouTube channel and website.

Testimonials

At 43, I’ve had ongoing leg muscle issues, but Katherine’s yoga sessions have really helped. She knew exactly how to target the problem areas and guide me through movements that actually made a difference. I’m finally feeling stronger and more balanced.

Katherine

I have participated in yoga sessions while nursing a knee injury and Katherine been very good at providing a pace I can handle and been accommodating to what I can and can't do movement-wise.

Erica

Katherine is a fantastic yoga teacher. I'm not very flexible so I sometimes find yoga difficult/intimidating and Katherine did a great job making me feel welcome and making the class feel accessible.

Zara

Katherine’s yoga class is very unique and special. I have gone to many yoga classes and have only found two instructors, and Katherine is one of them, that I truly enjoy the entire class from beginning to end. She begins with the breathe and setting an intention and ends with a thoughtful quote. She’s one of a kind!
